We are a small, private Gypsy breeding farm, nestled on 3.75 acres in Chesterland, Ohio! Our family has been active in the equine industry since 1987. Over the years we have owned and shown several different breeds and have participated in almost every discipline of riding. In the winter of 2002, I suffered a crippling injury to my left ankle and the doctors told me I would never ride again let alone have the balance to even handle a horse. After several surgeries and almost a full year of PT, I decided I was going to prove the doctors wrong. On a cold March morning in 2004, I saddled up my old riding gelding, mounted and rode for 20 mins. When I dismounted, I instantly fell to the ground. I could not bare any weight on the entire leg. After having to be carried out of the arena, I thought about what the doctors had said and thought maybe they are right. Within a month, I had sold all my riding horses and closed up the barn. My heart was broken. After a few months of going and visiting my old horses, I longed to own one again. I started doing some research and decided if I couldn't ride, I was going to drive! That's when I stumbled upon the Gypsy Horse breed! In May of 2006, we purchased our stallion, FF Chavo. It has been one amazing ride ever since! Though Chavo now knows how to drive, we've put him into dressage training with Sarah Hall of Serendipity Stables in Chesterland, Ohio. Sarah briefly started Chavo in the Autumn of 2007 under-saddle then gave him a few months off. Chavo went into full training in February 2008 and has since already proven himself at the shows!
